| Any time your doctor prescribes
an MRI exam it can be cause for concern. At Brookings Open MRI,
we understand this. An MRI does not have to be a scary experience.
Unlike traditional MRI scanners, the Brookings OPEN Hitachi Airis
II MRI System, has no tunnel; it is open on all sides. Claustrophobic
patients, as well as larger patients, can have an MRI without feeling
confined. The procedure will typically last 20– 45 minutes,
depending on the type of information required by your physician.
Parents can be right at their child’s side, saving them from
the scary experience of being in a confining metal tunnel alone.
You do not need to worry if you feel that you are too big to fit
in the traditional tunnel, Brookings Open MRI can comfortably accommodate
almost any size.
If you feel claustrophobic, you will be able to relax at Brookings Open MRI with the wide gantry with access from all four sides.
Our friendly, professional staff, highly trained technicians, Board
Certified Radiologist, offer easy scheduling, fast reports and high
quality images. We provide fast MRI report turn around, within 24
hours or sooner if necessary, to your referring physicians.
